Hi5 is a new exhibition format at the Gallery Lab of Hotel Continental - Art Space in Exile, presenting young emerging visual artists from Ukraine in a series of six short-term exhibitions. Each exhibition comprises a full exhibition cycle - opening, public viewing, artist talk, and finissage - five intense days.

High Five is a new exhibition format at Gallery Lab of Hotel Continental - Art Space in Exile. Each edition takes the room for five intense days — from opening to finissage — and hands it over to artists currently living in exile in Berlin.
The format favours spontaneity and immediacy over the slow rhythm of a museum show. The result is closer to a studio visit than a polished retrospective: raw, present, finite.
Hotel Continental - Art Space in Exile dedicated to Ukrainian and exiled artists in Berlin. We work toward peace, freedom, democracy and human rights with the means of culture — through exhibitions, residencies, performances, festivals and the simple insistence on showing up.
HI5 is open to artists currently living in exile in Berlin — emerging or established, working in any medium. Each edition picks two to three positions for five days at the Gallery Lab.
