The third edition of the HI5 Summer Series — "Scho-De-Nikoly" (Що-Де-Ніколи · "What-Where-Never").
HI5 is a regular exhibition format at Gallery Lab of the Hotel Continental — Art Space in Exile. Each exhibition project compresses a full exhibition cycle — opening, public viewing, artist talk, and finissage — into five intense days.
"Scho-De-Nikoly" (What-Where-Never) is a multidisciplinary Ukrainian artist collective comprising three distinct voices.
Hotel Continental — Art Space in Exile dedicated to Ukrainian and exiled artists in Berlin. We work toward peace, freedom, democracy and human rights with the means of culture — through exhibitions, residencies, performances, festivals and the simple insistence on showing up.
Ozi is a versatile artist working across media. A graduate of the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture in Kyiv, she has been based in Venice, Italy since 2013. She received Gaude Polonia scholarships and has held solo exhibitions in Ukraine, Poland, Italy, France, Germany and group shows across Europe.
Sasha is a poet and screenwriter. She began writing at age four and has published three books of poetry. Since fleeing to Munich in 2022, she has participated in exhibitions and poetry readings in Germany, with works published in the USA and nominated for the Pushcart Prize.
Kyrylo is a photographer and feature film director. Trained at the National University of Cinema, Theater and Television in Kyiv, he has participated in photo exhibitions in the Netherlands, Ukraine and Germany, and his award-winning short films have screened at festivals in Ireland, China, the UK, Poland and Italy.
Hotel Continental — Art Space in Exile is a cultural venue in Berlin offering spaces for the creation and presentation of art, educational events, community projects, and corporate events. We are located at Elsenstraße 87, 12435 Berlin. You can reach us from S-Treptow or by bus M43 or M194.
